Use different background music for individual clips and scenes

The challenge

Right now, when you add background music to a project it applies to the whole video and plays across every clip from start to finish. There's no way to give one part of the video its own music. For example, you might want a specific melody under just your intro — the clip with your logo reveal — and something different, or nothing at all, for the rest. Today the single track you pick runs over everything.

Our approach

Let's make background music work at the clip and scene level, not only for the whole video. You'd be able to assign a specific track to an individual clip or scene — for example a short melody under your intro and logo reveal — while the rest of the video keeps its own music or stays silent, with smooth transitions between the different pieces.
