The challenge
When you add text boxes to a video, they sometimes stay on screen longer than the underlying video clip — the white text box keeps showing even after the video has already ended. This happens because text boxes have a minimum display time, so on a short clip the text box can linger past the end of the footage. Today the only way to fix it is to manually shorten each affected text box on the timeline, which is fiddly and easy to overlook.
Our approach
Let's have Mozaik's AI editing assistant automatically adjust the duration of text boxes so they fit the length of the video instead of staying on screen after the footage ends. You'd still be able to fine-tune the timing manually on the timeline whenever you want.
Expected impact
Text boxes match your video instead of lingering after it ends
No more manually trimming each text box on the timeline
Cleaner, more polished videos straight out of the automatic edit
